Sub: - Callout of Signal While Passing a Yellow Signal vide CEE(OP)/GRC message no 42/02.
1. As per RB instructions, ALPs should focus on the signal and call out “Approaching Danger” or “Aage Lal Hai” while passing one yellow signal.
2. If the signal is showing ‘Red’ then it will be repeated minimum four times with signal name and number by both LP & ALP or frequently unless the train is stopped at the signal or signal aspect is changed vide letter no EL/OPTG/CIRCULAR dated 04.04.2022.
3. ALP should stand up and hold RS valve and ready to apply to avoid SPAD.
4. After passing one yellow maximum speed should not exceed 60 kmph for Coaching stock including MEMU/DEMU/EMU/Light Engine/Tower Wagon (8-wheeler). Incase of freight stock not exceeding 40 kmph and for Vande Bharat not exceeding 90 kmph vide letter no EL/OPTG/Safety-4 dated 10.12.2025.
